History Museum of Catalonia tickets

The History Museum of Catalonia was opened in 1996 by the Generalitat and it is located in the antique Magatzems Generals de Comerç (MGC) or Palau de Mar, the only preseved building from the old industrial port from Barcelona. Its contemporary architecture is appreciated in all the building as well as the terrace, where you can enjoy the amazing view from Barcelona. The museum is full of temporary and permanent exhibitions which are related to Catolonia's history and they also offer different academic and fun activities for adults, families, kids and schools. Moreover, many events are held related to Catalonia's tradition and culture as well as seminars and educational activities. The Museum also offers a traditional catalan restaurant with views. The museum offers a free guided tour through the permanent exhibition about Catolonia's history every Sunday and holiday days, which takes 1 hour and 30 minutes.
