Gaël Horellou et Ari Hoenig se sont rencontrés à Paris en 2006 pendant une jam-session. Partenaires depuis, les deux musiciens ont trouvé une affinité rare dans leur approche de la musique. Leur collaboration a permis la sortie de deux albums de jazz (« Pour la Terre » et « Brooklyn ») ainsi que de nombreux concerts en France et à New-York.
Complicité, inventivité et plaisir de jouer ensemble les amènent à des moments d’improvisations intenses !
Le Quartet est complété par le pianiste Etienne Deconfin et le contrebassiste Viktor Nyberg, qui ont déjà collaboré avec Gaël Horellou sur les albums « Brooklyn » et « Legacy » (2014) ainsi que sur le nouveau projet « Coup de vent » (2017).
