Meet and greet with your driver/guide at any accommodation in Christchurch or from the International Airport. Commence your travel towards Kaikoura - a location renowned for its whale watching throughout the year. Passing the Waipara Valley and its vineyards, you will then head towards the Kaikoura Seaward Ranges to descend onto the East Coast.According to your plans, if you have booked a whale watch activity, your guide will take you in time for your check in. Alternatively, your driver/guide will show you the seal colony that resides on Kaikoura's coastline. Choice of whale watching by boat or by aircraft specially designed with wings above the windows so as not to obstruct viewing (ensure you have pre booked, as this activity is very popular).If you are not staying the night in Kaikoura you will be taken to two wineries to do some tasting on your return journey to Christchurch. If you are staying in Kaikoura your driver/guide will transfer you to your accommodation.
